    AFTER YOUR CAMPING ADVENTURE

    After months of planning, waiting, and finally taking your camping trip, you will be relieved and saddened when it is over. While planning may have been stressful, you probably had a great time camping, participating in activities, and cooking meals using different equipment than what you are used to.

    When preparing to leave your campsite, you should:

    Make sure all the items you brought with you are where they belong

    Wash all pots, pans, and cooking utensils

    Discard anything you no longer need

    Empty out cooler

    Sweep out tent before taking it down

    Throw away unused foods

    Make sure all clothing and equipment has been packed

    Wash down chairs, tables, and other items before packing them

    Clean out campsite


    By completing these tasks, you will make it easier to unpack once you arrive home. If you have rented an RV, it is important to clean it thoroughly before returning it.

    Camping is a fun vacation for everyone in the family. You will enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people. You may even want to return next year for another vacation.
